Keep brand context and workspace access clear

2 min read

A workspace connects the people, media, brand information and credit balance used by your team. Check the active workspace before starting a campaign so the right references and permissions are available.

Prepare a useful brand kit

Open Brand to review the available brand colors, typography and logos. Keep the kit focused on approved material. A visual brand kit guides appearance; it does not prove product features, legal claims or customer endorsements.

Add accurate product facts and required wording to your creative brief separately. For example, distinguish “use our saved type and colors” from “the bottle is 500 ml and the label must remain unchanged.”

Choose how Director should use the brand

In Director, open Brand and choose a saved look. The selected kit supplies available brand context for the conversation. Choose Create freely when you want to explore without a saved look.

Use Library to attach the actual product or campaign references you want discussed. Brand colors and media metadata are not a substitute for the images or video themselves.

Invite teammates with appropriate access

Open Organization. Owners and admins can manage members and invitations. Create an invitation for the intended email and role, then use the invitation link provided by the page.

Review the member's app permissions and credit allowance where available. A workspace role and a specific app's permissions both affect what a person can do. A viewer should not be expected to generate or edit simply because they can open a page.

Explain the handoff

Before a teammate continues the work, make the brief understandable without relying on a private conversation. Name the subject, intended output, approved source media, chosen brand and any instructions that must be preserved.

For a multi-step campaign, use a Studio to keep the steps and references connected. For an editable layout, keep the work in Canvas so text and layers can be changed later.

Diagnose missing access

  1. Confirm that both people are in the intended workspace.
  2. Check that the invitation was accepted with the intended account.
  3. Ask a workspace manager to review the member's role and app permissions.
  4. Check whether the required media is in a restricted collection.
  5. Review the displayed credit or allowance message if generating is blocked.

Changing to a different workspace does not combine its media or balance with the previous one. Use Billing and Usage for the active workspace's current information.
