Director is a Gemini-powered planning assistant for KINOAI. It uses the platform's registered tools, model settings, current catalog pricing and accessible Studio templates to help shape a brief and choose a useful next step.
Describe the outcome in your own words
Open Director and explain what you want to publish, who will see it and what needs to stay accurate. You can write in your preferred language and ask Director to keep the conversation, script or final prompt in a particular language.
A helpful brief might say: “Create a vertical product launch video for our new bottle. The audience is first-time customers. Show the label clearly, use a calm voice and avoid claims we have not supplied.” Include the intended length, format and budget if you know them.
Give each reference a job
Use Library to attach an existing image or video, or upload one. Tell Director what to examine: “Keep this product shape,” “Explain the camera movement,” or “Use the lighting, but change the setting.” Select a saved Brand to add its available visual context, or choose Create freely to work without it.
An image annotation or mask identifies an area and supplies guidance. It does not itself run an inpainting job. Director can prepare the instructions; the actual edit must be performed with an appropriate editing tool.
Understand what Director can inspect
Workspace media listings contain names and metadata. Visual analysis requires attaching the actual supported media. A library listing alone is not evidence that Director has watched a video.
The current attachment limits are six files in total, including at most two videos, up to 10 MiB per file and 12 MiB combined. Video analysis is limited to clips up to two minutes and requires the video-analysis service to be available. Use a shorter excerpt when you only need to discuss one shot.
Review the recommendation
Director can compare available model capabilities and settings, prepare a prompt for a creation tool, recommend an accessible Studio, or prepare a connected Studio draft. Ask why a model fits the inputs you have, and check the estimate for the proposed duration, resolution and quantity.
Opening a draft does not run its generators. Director's current automatic Studio builder does not complete final multi-clip editing or every specialized node operation. Review and finish those steps in the Studio editor.
If Director cannot respond
Gemini must be configured and reachable. Follow the displayed connection or credit message rather than repeatedly submitting the same request. A conversation can use workspace credits separately from the media you later generate. Check Billing and Usage for your workspace's current information.
