The asset library brings your workspace's images, videos, audio and uploads together. Use it to find an existing reference or result before generating the same material again.
Check the active workspace
Open Assets and confirm the workspace name. Media belongs to a workspace, and what you can see depends on membership, app access and any restricted folders.
If an expected asset is missing, check the workspace and filters first. A missing or unavailable item is not necessarily deleted; your current account may not have access to it.
Find an existing asset
Use search to narrow the list by name. Filter by media type when you only need images, video or audio. Choose an available collection to view its contents, then clear the filter to return to the wider library.
Open an asset to inspect its preview and details. Check its file type, collection, upload information and source where shown. Similar thumbnails can represent different versions, so confirm the actual media before using it as a reference.
Upload material you already have
- Choose Upload assets when you have permission to add files.
- Select the images, videos or audio you need.
- Wait for the upload to finish and check the library result.
- Open the uploaded item to confirm that the preview and file are correct.
If a collection is active during upload, the upload can be filed into that collection. The receiving creative tool may have narrower file, size or duration limits than the library itself.
Reuse media from a composer
In a creation tool, open Library from the reference control. The picker lets you choose an existing item or switch to Upload. Select media that matches the target field: a first-frame field needs an image, while a motion input needs a suitable video.
Explain the reference's purpose in your prompt. Attaching a photo of a product does not tell the model whether it should preserve the product, imitate the lighting or change the room.
Keep source and result clear
Generated assets and uploaded sources can both appear in the same library. A result may also appear in its creation tool's history. Use the asset preview and details to distinguish them, and download the version you intend to share.
If a tool says it cannot analyze or reuse a file, check that tool's requirements. Director, for example, accepts a limited number of supported image and video attachments for analysis; simply seeing a video in Assets does not mean it has already been analyzed.
