Use Images for a finished still image: a product photograph, a campaign scene, a portrait or a transformation of an existing picture. The prompt composer keeps model selection, creative direction, references and output settings together.
Start with a clear shot
Open Images and describe the subject, setting, composition and lighting. Separate the facts that must stay accurate from the style you want to explore.
For example: “The supplied bottle on a pale stone shelf, close-up product photograph, soft light from the left. Keep the bottle proportions and label unchanged. Leave clear space on the right for a headline.” Add editable headlines later in Canvas.
Choose a model and check its inputs
Open the model control in the prompt. Models have different reference support, output sizes and settings. A model suitable for text-only generation may not support the same image-editing inputs as another model.
After switching models, review the available controls again. Check the aspect ratio, number of images and any model-specific options before you generate. Use the current on-screen estimate rather than assuming each model costs the same.
Add references deliberately
Use the reference control to open Library. Choose existing workspace media or use its Upload tab. Describe what the reference contributes: exact product appearance, a pose, lighting, a room or a general mood.
When several references are supported, give each a distinct purpose. Avoid asking the model to treat two different products as the same object. For a recurring person, select a saved actor where the model supports it.
Use a creative direction as a starting point
Open Direction beside the model control, inspect a direction and apply it. Review the resulting brief and settings before generating; the direction is a suggested setup, not a guarantee that your product details are correct.
Keep your own facts in the prompt. If you change direction, check that the subject, reference images and intended framing still match the result you want.
Review and refine the result
- Generate a first version and open it at a useful preview size.
- Check product shape, faces, labels, hands and any required text.
- Reuse the prompt and change one instruction at a time.
- Use a supported image-editing or masked-editing tool when only a specific area needs changing.
Your generation history and Assets help you return to workspace results. Model examples are inspiration; they are separate from your own generated images.
