Actors are saved visual identities for people or characters you want to reuse. Generate a portrait, review it, then save the chosen image to your cast instead of starting from a new face for each creation.
Decide whether you need a saved actor
Use Actors for a recurring brand host, presenter or campaign character. For a single image of a person holding a product, Images may be the simpler starting point.
A saved actor guides future generations with reference images. It does not guarantee pixel-identical faces across every model, pose and shot, so review identity consistency in each result.
Describe and generate a portrait
Start with a casting direction or write your own description. Explain the character's presentation, wardrobe, setting and intended role. Open Appearance to adjust the available attributes and name.
Add reference photographs when the creation tool supports them and when you have the right to use them. Choose clear images that communicate the identity you want to preserve. Avoid mixing unrelated people when your goal is one recurring identity.
Save the version you want to keep
- Generate a portrait and inspect the face and details.
- Compare available results in Your cast or the recent portraits area.
- Save the chosen portrait as an actor with a recognizable name.
- Keep the name and description useful for your team, such as “Launch campaign host.”
Generated portraits and saved actors are different collections. A portrait in generation history is not automatically a saved cast member. Check the saved collection before trying to reuse an identity elsewhere.
Use the actor in another tool
Where an image or video model supports actor references, select the saved actor or use the available @ picker in the prompt. Explain the new scene while preserving the actor's identity: clothing, product interaction, framing and expression can be directed separately.
Some video modes do not accept actor or image references. Check that the active model exposes the required control before generating.
Add voice as a separate choice
You can associate an available generated audio track with a saved actor. Create the spoken track in Audio first if needed. Attaching voice keeps the media available with the actor; it is not itself a lip-sync generation.
For a talking presenter or a multi-scene creator-led advert, use a suitable Studio and configure the required image, video and audio steps.
